The new A4 looks good, but are standard equipments up to par? Finally, we’re proud to announce that Euromobil has gone above and beyond the call of duty (to clients, not the nation) and has launched the new B8 A4 with a raft of standard toys. How does standard LED pilot lights, adaptive bi-xenon, full-colour MMI interface (yes, say goodbye to the monochrome, Gameboy display of old) bluetooth phone prep and a choice of bodykits. |

What in the world is a Second Masterpiece? Leonardo Da Vinci produced a second version of his masterpiece known as "The Virgin of the Rocks" and, 400 years later, Matisse reinterpreted his original version of "Le Luxe". They are essentially new works; although they are identical in size and very similar in composition to the originals; it is the new style that makes the second versions the most influential. With some degree of similarity, Maserati is now realising its second "painting": the new Maserati Quattroporte.

So what's new? It may look like one of the laziest facelifta in history, but the new Porsche 911 heralds the arrival of Porsche’s new twin-clutch transmission (dubbed PDK) and direct injection. To put it in a nutshell, the coupe is now as fuel efficient as a Golf GTi, rated to run at only 30mpg, and is capable of out shifting the smart little DSG car as well. Like the Golf, the PDK system is steering mounted and the ratios of up and downshift are both available on each side of the wheel, allowing the driver to keep one hand on the wheel and the other on a hot looking brunette. Not wanting to call the new car the 998, the latest generation 911 is known as the 2nd generation 997, which aside from the rear light cluster and the addition of Turbo style LED pilot lights, looks pretty much the same. Launching sometime next month in Malaysia, the two models available for purchase are the 3.6 litre Carrera with 345bhp (up 20bhp) with acceleration time of 4.7 sec for the century sprint and the range topping Carrera S, with the same 3.8 litre engine now pumping 385bhp (up 30bhp) with a 0-100km/h of 4.5 seconds and a stop speed of ‘over’ 300km/h. Industry insiders have given an indication that - due to the persistent rise of the Euro against the Ringgit - the new 911 may cost 10 percent more than the outgoing 997.

Cyberjaya, 13 June 2008 - High Precision Injection makes BMW’s four-cylinder power units the benchmark for efficiency and performance. The new generation of four-cylinder petrol engines features direct fuel injection defined by BMW as High Precision Injection (HPI), allowing lean burn operation of the engine throughout a wide range of engine speed therefore helping to significantly reduce fuel consumption in everyday traffic despite the further increase in engine power. HPI already features in the six- cylinder BMW engines. |
